HAKUSAN’s slitter system delivers a total production line utilizing highly integrated, modern technology. The patented friction winding recoiler and separator mechanism and all other parts perform superbly, and this automated system offers complete control and advanced functions. The built-in sophisticated functions meet diverse needs.

The coils after slitting are picked by the vacuum suction system and set on the packaging line. The coil diameter can range from 200 to 2,000mm, and have a maximum weight of approximately 2 tons. Products of various sizes are automatically removed from the separator.
*A multi-size type is also available.

This follow-type separator with built-in automatic sensor winds the material without damaging the surface and so smoothly on the winding side that vacuum suction is possible. The material can also be wound while orienting all burrs in the same direction. (Pat. No.1951412)

Our digital column clamp type lap adjuster mechanism maintains strict accuracy. The cutter shaft features a proprietary rigid structure to deliver an accuracy of 5μm or less radial run-out. Both drive and pull cut are thus performed precisely.

The coil is properly braked under control by the controller to maintain slitting accuracy. The uncoiler has a centering function, and the EPC unit and feeder are available as options.

The material is rewound always under tension from the cutter to the recoiler, so no pitting or looping of the material is required and the material surface is not damaged. The cut edge is aligned before winding to eliminate the need for re-winding. (Pat. No.1951412)

The residual material after slitting is efficiently rewound to facilitate post-processing. Even narrow tapes can be rewound on bobbins with uniform thickness thanks to the traverse guide winding.

The side guides prevent the material from moving sideways to ensure correct slitting. The coil mounting base features sliding needle bearings to allow smooth positional adjustment, and various other devices guarantee a smooth, fine and delicate motion,

The coil car brings the raw material coils to the predetermined position in the line smoothly and safely. Simply set the coil car on the rails, and heavy raw materials can be easily mounted (lift travel type). An optional coil stocker further facilitates operation. A pitless installation type is also available according to the configuration of your plant.
*The inverting coil car is placed before the packaging line. The slit coil is inverted and then transported to the arm loader.
